Before putting on any concealer, Swenson recommends applying eye cream to your under eye area. “Skip an emollient cream in the morning, as the ingredients can cut through your concealer and cause it to separate,” she explains. “Instead, use an eye cream that is a lightweight, silicone based formula, which will fill in all the tiny lines around your eyes and create a smooth canvas for your concealer.”

“What I am continuing to learn is how to manage all of my different creative impulses. I wish I had known when I was younger that its okay to be passionate in different areas. You don’t have to define yourself by only one path or career choice. You can fully embrace all of your creativity. You just have to make choices about what you focus on at any one moment.”
